A Look Back on 2018

As 2018 is coming to an end, I have decided for the new year that one of my goals is to start blogging. I know I have written sporadic blogs in the past, but this time, I will release a new blog post every Tuesday. It will either be a written post like this or a video. 

However, before I can start talking about new things, I guess I should catch you up on what has happened in my life this past year.

2018 was a big year for me.

Some I am going to share some of my favorite highlights of the year. 

January:

 I celebrated New Years in Colorado with one of my favorite people. 
 I turned 21 with my best friend.

We even went to Vegas with our Dads to celebrate being 21.

And then we had a blast celebrating with our friends. 

February:

We said goodbye to our family dog of 15 years.
I went on a Cabin Trip and made a new friend.
I celebrated Valentines Day with some of the people I love most... Baby Jay and Hans.

March:

I got to watch a KU game with one of the most amazing couples in the world. 
I got to watch a KU game with one of the most amazing couples in the world.
KU made it to the Final 4... Rock Chalk Baby

April:


May:

We went to the Wayside Waifs fundraiser 
Finally went to Karaoke night, I sang Copacabana. 

Jumped in the Chi O fountain
Graduated from the University of Kansas with my degree in Psychology and Spanish 


Walked down the hill 
The family all got to be back together again for Vinay's birthday.

June:

We welcomed a new family dog- Millie.

Had some wild summer nights with this girl
Learned that Flaming Hot Cheetos are the best

July: 

Got a baby pool for the dogs 

The cousins came into town

August: 

Lola turned 2 
Millie became a giant
Moved to Colorado

Started working at a new Francescas

September:

Celebrated my babies turning 21
Started my dream graduate program at my dream school

October:

Went to Toronto for a Sport Psychology Conference
Went to a Harry Potter breakfast bar
Got to reconnect with family members I haven't seen in a while... we all like sour beers 
Ali and Baylee came out to visit me
Got to take a photo at the infamous wall 
Went to the zoo
Hot tubbed in the snow 
Halloween activities 

October is not complete without a trip to a pumpkin patch

November:

Celebrated Diwali

Millie got her ovaries removed
Thanksgiving is not complete without a family selfie

December:

We became Costco members
and also members of the Botanic Gardens 
get it, cause his name is Hans
The squad met up on FaceTime... in 3 different time zones, and 4 different places
Kacie and I went to the dog park
and finally... Millie destroyed the under part of the sofa

2018 has been an eventful year and with that being said, I feel as though 2019 will bring all new things.

I am really excited to go on this journey of blogging and I am glad that you are willing to take the trip with me.
